Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Delhi (from IGI Airport, your hotel, or any designated location), you will be
received by your professional tour guide and chauffeur. Begin your full-day Delhi sightseeing tour
in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Start with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in India. From
there, experience a lively rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, Delhi’s oldest and most vibrant
market, famous for its spice shops, dry fruits, street food, and traditional Indian goods.
Continue your tour with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the
elegant mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built by his wife Empress Bega Begum.
Next, head to Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret and a symbol of Indo-Islamic
architecture, part of the historic Qutb complex.
Then, visit the Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of Worship, known for its iconic lotus-shaped design
and serene ambiance.
Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to the spectacular Akshardham Temple, one of the largest
Hindu temples in the world. This cultural and spiritual complex is known for its intricate carvings,
exhibitions, and optional musical fountain show.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and explore Delhi Haat or other local markets,
perfect for picking up regional handicrafts and souvenirs.
Later, proceed to your pre-booked hotel, check-in, and rest. Overnight stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, get picked up from your hotel in Delhi by your chauffeur and begin your journey to
Agra in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 3.5–4 hours). On arrival in Agra, meet your
professional tour guide and proceed to explore the city’s historical gems.
Begin with a visit to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This majestic red sandstone fort
served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital was moved to
Delhi. Walk through its grand halls, palaces, and courtyards that beautifully blend Persian, Islamic,
and Indian architectural styles.
Next, visit Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the Baby Taj or Jewel Box. Commissioned by
Empress Nur Jahan for her father, this exquisite white marble mausoleum is noted for its intricate
inlay work and is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal.
Following this, head to Mehtab Bagh, a peaceful Mughal-era garden located on the banks of the
Yamuna River. The garden offers an exceptional panoramic view of the Taj Mahal at sunset — an
ideal spot for photography and quiet reflection.
Afterward, explore Agra’s traditional inlay art, the same intricate craftsmanship used in the Taj
Mahal. Visit a local artisan studio where the descendants of the original Mughal artisans continue
this ancient tradition. Witness the precision and artistry involved in marble inlay work using semiprecious stones.
End your day with a stop at the legendary Gopaldas Pethey Waley, a 100-year-old sweet shop
renowned for its iconic petha and other traditional Indian sweets. Enjoy a tasting session and learn
about the sweet heritage of Agra.
Later in the evening, check into your pre-booked hotel in Agra and stay overnight.
At sunrise, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel and you will proceed to visit the Taj Mahal, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his
wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is one of the most iconic monuments in the world. After visiting
the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast and complete the check-out process.
Later, drive straight to Jaipur, enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a historic city 35.7 km from Agra.
Known as a "ghost town," Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of the Mughal Empire under Emperor
Akbar. Upon arrival, visit Buland Darwaza, one of the largest gateways in the world, and explore
Jodha Bai’s Palace, an excellent example of Mughal architecture. Continue your drive to Jaipur, and
upon reaching, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
In the morning, after breakfast meet your tour guide and begin your sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Your
first stop is Amer Fort, which was constructed in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh. Ascend the
Amer Hilltop by elephant ride, an iconic experience that offers stunning views of the fort and the
surrounding landscape.
Next, visit Panna Meena ka Kund, a unique step-well and architectural marvel in India, known for
its symmetrical design and historical significance.
In the afternoon, explore the Old Walled City of Jaipur, beginning with the Jantar Mantar
Observatory, an astronomical marvel built in the 1700s that still looks futuristic today. Nearby, visit
the Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds," with its ornate façade and intricate design.
Continue your tour at the City Palace, a stunning blend of Mughal and Hindu architecture, which
houses a museum displaying a rare collection of paintings, Rajasthani armory, and costumes. As you
pass through Patrika Gate, marvel at its opulent design, which leads to Jawahar Circle Garden, a site
known for its vibrant and intricate walkways that truly reflect Rajasthani culture.
Later in the day, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.
You will also have the option to visit a local market where you can explore traditional handicrafts,
jewelry, and textiles. Jaipur is famous for its intricate jewelry and colorful clothing, making it a great
opportunity to take home souvenirs that showcase the craftsmanship of the region
On Day 5 in Jaipur, after enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you'll be transferred to a
specially arranged venue to celebrate the vibrant festival of Holi. The event will be lively and
festive, with music, dancing, and a joyful crowd, creating an unforgettable cultural experience. All
arrangements will be taken care of in advance, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the
colorful celebrations. As colors fill the air and traditional songs echo around you, you'll enjoy a truly
authentic Indian festival experience. Later in the day, you'll return to your hotel and stay overnight,
relaxing after a day full of energy and joy.
In the morning, after breakfast and the check-out process, you will begin your straight drive to
Delhi Airport at 12:00 AM. The drive will take approximately 5 hours, and you will arrive at Delhi
Airport to connect to your onward flight.
Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be dropped off, and your tour will come to an end.

Outstanding tour at Taj and Artisan visits
This was an outstanding tour with a great and knowledgable guide, Sandeep and the excellent driver Prem. The 6 am entry to Taj Mahal made a world of difference as we were able to beat the heat, the crowds, and gain access in a civilized manner and enjoy the morning. As we were leaving the grounds, two hours later, the lines were quite long. The early am access allowed us more time to fit in many artisan visits during the day. We highly recommend this tour and both the guide and driver who were both outstanding!

An excellent service at a very reasonable price
Just returned from a phenomenal tour of the Taj Mahal with Aamil Khan, our personal guide from Majestic Taj Tours. Everything was taken at a leisurely pace & Aamin exhibited an excellent knowledge of the history of this beautiful & iconic structure. From the timely pickup at our hotel, to our safe return at the end of the tour, everything went very smoothly & stress free. Would happily recommend this tour to anyone intending to visit Agra

an absolutely brilliant day!
Faez was a brilliant tour guide around Delhi today! He was informative, friendly, and let us have complete control over our itinerary and the monuments we visited, which my sister and I really appreciated! We started in south Delhi at the Qutab Minar and worked our way northwards to the Red Fort, ending with a trip to Chandni Chowk’s spice market and Faez’s favourite masala chai spot, which was delicious! We highly recommend Faez if you’re keen to see as much of Delhi as possible with limited time. Thank you, Faez!
