Itinerary
Welcome to Tamil Nadu! Upon your arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will be
transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, begin exploring the capital city. Start with a visit
to Fort St. George, which also encompasses the historic St. Mary's Church and St. George
Fort Museum. Continue to Santhome Church, built over the tomb of St. Thomas. Visit the
Kapaleeswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Chennai.
After breakfast, drive to Kanchipuram to visit the Ekambaranathar Temple and
Kailasanathar Temple. Explore Silk Weaving Centres. Continue to Mahabalipuram for an
overnight stay.
Explore Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram), known for the Sea Shore Temple, Five Chariots,
Arjuna’s Penance, Krishna’s Butter Ball, and Varaha Cave, all part of the UNESCO heritage
site. Relax at the resort. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
Drive to Pondicherry and visit Goubert Markets, Aurobindo Ashram, Basilica of the Sacred
Heart of Jesus, and enjoy a rickshaw ride through the French colonies. Overnight stay in
Pondicherry.
Drive to Thanjavur with en route visits to Gangaikonda Cholapuram Temple and
Airavatesvara Temple in Darasuram, both part of the UNESCO 'Great Living Chola Temples'.
Overnight stay in Thanjavur.
Visit Thanjavur Art Gallery, Brihadeeswara Temple, and the Bronze Making Artisan’s
Village. Overnight stay in Thanjavur.
Drive to Trichy. Stop at Amma Mandapam and visit the Ranganathaswamy Temple in
Srirangam. Continue to Madurai to visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace and Meenakshi
Temple. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Drive to Thekkady and enjoy a Boat Ride in the Forest Lake, a Guided Spice Plantation
Walk, and the Kalaripayattu martial art show. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Drive to Alappuzha. Check in to the houseboat and enjoy cruising through Vembanad Lake.
Overnight stay on houseboat.
Drive to Kochi and visit St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Cathedral, Chinese Fishing Nets,
Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue and witness a Kathakali dance show.
Overnight stay in Kochi.
Drive to Ooty and relax at the resort. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Board the Nilgiri Mountain Railway to Coonoor. Visit Sim’s Park, St. Stephen Church,
Botanical Gardens, and the Ooty Rose Garden. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Drive to Mysuru and visit St. Philomena's Church, Chamundeshwari Temple, and the
Mysore Maharaja Palace. Overnight stay in Mysuru.
Visit Devaraja Market in Mysuru, then drive to Bengaluru via Srirangapatna. En route, visit
Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple and Daria Daulat Bagh. In Bengaluru, visit Vidhana Soudha
and Lalbagh Botanical Garden. Overnight stay in Bengaluru.
You will be transferred to Kempegowda International Airport for your flight back home.
